Dr Wang's Biography

Dr Wang's Biography

From Darkness to Sight shares the remarkable life journey of Dr. Ming Wang, a world-renowned laser eye surgeon and philanthropist. It is an inspirational story of how one man turned fear, poverty, persecution, and prejudice into healing and love for others.

I want to thank Dr. Wang and the whole team at Wang Vision for their support and expertise during my LASIK eye surgery.

I was referred by my optometrist, because my eyesight prior to LASIK was so poor. She said I needed to see “the best” for vision correction because mine was a much more challenging case than usual.

Every staff person I met at Wang Vision Institute was kind, supportive, and knowledgeable. They made me feel welcome and excited to undergo surgery. Dr. Wang made me feel confident in the procedure, and I knew I was in more than capable hands. He even called me at home after my surgery to check on me.

Within a day of my LASIK surgery, I had gone from legally blind to 20/30 vision, and have the ongoing support from Wang Vision to get to 20/20. I am so grateful for their work and definitely feel like I came to the right place.
